CHILDREN SCIENCE FESTIVAL 2024

CHILDREN SCIENCE FESTIVAL 2024- BOKAKHAT JATIYA BIDYALAY- DATE: 23, 24, 25 May 2024 As per the instruction of Gyaan Vigyaan Samiti Asom, the “STATE CHILDREN SCIENCE FESTIVAL 2024” was organized by C N B College, Bokakhat and Bokakhat Jatiya Bidyalaya on 23, 24 and 25 May 2024. Total 396 students of Class VI, VII, and VIII of Assam registered as participant. First day registration was started at 8.30 am. At 9 am Gyaan Vigyaan Samiti Asom flag was hoisted by President Mr. Tapan Kr, Sarma and reception committee flag was hoisted by Mr. Sarat Ch. Dutta. Festival was inaugurated by Dr. Bhabesh Ch. Goswami, retired VC Cotton University. On this day only one corner was held. At 3.30 pm guest participants were taken for Kaziranga visit. Second day total four corners were held started at 9 am with Asom Sangeet and ends with National Anthem. Third day, one corner was held from 9 am. At 10.30 am main meeting was held which was presided by Mr. Sarat Ch Dutta. The meeting was started with Asom Sangeet played in five languages. Souvenir “MUKTAMON” (Editor Dr. Phalgun Chetia & Ms. Ipsita Dutta) was inaugurated by Dr. Aswini Kr. Baruah, retired Director of ASTEC. S S Bhatnagor prize winner young scientist Dr. Binoy K Saikia attended as chief guest. Chief General Manager (HR & Law) Dr. Kajol Saikia attended as guest of honour. College Principals Dr. Surajit Dutta and Dr. Dipak Kr. Borah graced the occasion. The meeting was concluded by National Anthem.
